Here at MADWood Maple, we have installed sensors in our sap tank that provide real-time updates to both the level of sap currently in our tank, as well as the temperature of both the sap and the outside air at the sugarhouse. As the sap flows to the tank through our gravity-fed tubing system, the tank level will rise. As we boil off the collected sap, the level will drop. Measurements are updated every 15 minutes.
